are you sure that's not overthinking on something that's simple? i get what you're saying but i don't get why the mutts wouldn't just be refered to as some garbage hybrid regardless of the technical meaning of hybrids

Hmmm.... Still there has to be a term for this. Hybrid is not the answer as stated. I feel al smart for coming up with a question that has stumped some people 
No there should be a term. I've seen people say they got a JDxEBJD "hybrid". Clearly there should be a term for this.
Let's called it hygene, meaning mixed gene.
Btw, hybrid has more than one meaning besides reproduction of two different species.
