Is it possible to propigate grass from an existing chunk?Or do i have to buy it to make a lawn!!!

you can cut it out of your lawn and transplant it somewhere else, in a few months the patch will grow back.
Post a pic of the 'grass' in question. Some grasses spread by runner, some split daughters off the main rosette, and some just spread the main rosette.
