Google Sketchup used to be a free download. It might still be. I downloaded it last year and use it alot.

although a L shape would look very sleek in that corner,

going diagonaly would give you alot more liter's...and if i'm not mistaking you would be using less glass?? does this make sense?

I think that plywood is the way to go for back, sides, and bottom ..

Yes the main idea was to have a greater viewing area, which is what I prefer.

I will have to investigate that plywood, this is all new to me.

Great plans. Yeah I'd have to go with the L shape as well. Much more veiwing space is the way to go.

if you want the veiwing area go with that! but IMO i like the gallons! bigger the better including ttanks and fish!
