i thought about carrying it around but if i ever get into a situation i would use my fists before anything else.

No, in Europe is not much weapons culture.
I used to have gun as teenager, now nothing.
I am talented for fistfight, so don't need weapons, of course if enemy doesn't have weapons.

I have a .45 colt semi and 12 g shotgun. And a permit. And a security system, and cameras, and a black belt in mouth karate.(ha ha) The question awlays is, if it com down to it, can you protect youself without hesitation, hell yeah or I'd die trying. Growimg up overseas in some rough cities was kinda interesting.
I don't leave the porch without a shotgun due to rattlesnakes, here, the law of the land is to be armed not really people but wild animals, snakes are really bad here. I don't know what all the flap is about shooting a .12, it doesn't even kick me and I'm small.
I used to have a robot dog who actually stopped a burglary in progress in California. It barked at the intruders, it's infared sensor went nut, his head startd spinning, damn funny!!!!

Leatherman Wave ftw! lol Has a knife or 2 but I mainly carry it because Macgyver would! Well he carried a Swiss Army knife but that was in the 80's 
I have an ice axe, machete and bat too. I didn't really think about it until this question popped up. And a yard full of mean a** rattlesnakes!
