Hey guys I've been working out for about 6 months or so and have so far gained 10lbs, I'm 6'2 and right now I'm at 175. I am toned and have seen slight improvement in muscle size and mass. I'm just wondering what would be better for me mass builder or something else? I'm looking to gain size and little fat, any help is appreciated thanks!

Eat eat eat eat eat. I was your size... now I'm the same height but 215. You have to EAT A LOT, workout and SLEEP. But really, 10 lbs in 6 months is freakin solid dude.

Are you currently taking any supplements? To start all you really need is a good solid protein, I prefer optimum nutrition. You could always add on creatine, glutamine, and BCAA's but they are secondary to a good workout routine and enough protein. You should be eating 1-1 1/2 grams of protein every day, along with drinking a gallon or more of water, and getting at least eight hours of sleep. The type of lifting you're doing will also have a big effect on gains. You also need to remember that you can't just focus on the scale. Are your lifts increasing? Are your taped measurements moving in the right direction? As you build muscle you're also losing fat and toning up so the scale won't move but your shape will change.

You've only been lifting for 6 months. Keep your money for REAL FOOD before you start throwing it down on supplements. Trust me, I've been doing this since I was 17 and I'm 29 now.... Protein is a rule of thumb, but get it from chicken, low fat ground beef, steak, bison, cottage cheese, countless veggies and fruits, etc.... Real food is much better than supplements. Maybe keep some protein powder on hand for the instances you don't have time to have a real meal, but that should be it. At least until you're more advance and have your diet down.

Some good advice on here..
Just make sure to eat for protein, and taking amino acids really help.
L-glutamine & BCAAs are the best for recovery, jus make sure they are pure free-form as to help w/ absorption

I drink water non stop. my main lifts (bench squat ect) have all gone up since I started. I could hardly do 25 on bench after not lifting since high school, now I'm up to 45s and 10s on each side, so weight is improving also, and I use pre work out every now and.then.

Eat more calories than you burn and you will gain weight. If you are not seeing satifying gains, you are not eating enough. Lift heavy weights and your body will covert these excess calories into muscle to compensate for the new stresses. 15 years ago I was a sickly 6'2" and 120 lbs. I had chronic pnuemonia and was told by my doctor that I could die if I did not gain weight. I learned a few things about human physiology and am now a lifetime drug free 270 lb powerlifter and strongman competetor. I also learned a lot from the book 'Dinosaur Training' by Brooks Kubik. You are better off not wasting your money on "miracle muscle building drinks." There is a reason why these products are often re-labeled as something new every 2 years.
