If you are into characins a school of fin nipping whimples are definatly cool as hell.

Catoprion mento is their scientific binonimal, tthey get around 6" long and will eat fish at least 3" long, they can bite feeders into pieces and a 5" one can easily draw blood from your finger, They like their water to be a bit acidic but treat them pretty much like red bellies and you will be fine
