oh, btw... Ps breeding season is in June (rainy season) so it'll be hard to find small ones now...

Thanks, they already eating guppies like crazy. I am now on the hunt for a rhombeus. Hope I find one soon. Want to keep it in a 100 gal tank.

yung pacu, mukhang piranha lang, yung piranha, piranha talaga. lol!

seriously, pacus - Colossoma bidens (red-bellied pacu), C. brachypomum (black pacu) and C. oculus (red-finned pacu) together with the metynnis, silver dollars and characins are close relations to the fish family Serrasalmidae or the Piranha family. these fishes especially the red-bellied pacu at some point in their life span resemble piranhas (the red-belly pacu's belly turns dull in adulthood) but they never get the trademark piranha razor teeth. pacus are mostly vegetarian but will eat anything edible they can put in their mouths
