PS3 or Xbox360 or Neither

I enjoy video games. I used to play a lot more, but recently work and school have been taking up more time. I want to get back into the gaming scheme, albeit not as hard core as i used to be. I was considering a 360 a while ago, but after halo 3, I lost motivation. I've been saving up some $$, and was wondering: should I go for a 360 or a ps3? Here are some questions that need to be taken into consideration...

1) what are good up and coming games for either system?
2) online play...free? cost?
3) if I do get a ps3, should I get 20, 40, 60, or 80 gb?

just need some input. Thanks guys :)
 
Personally i would choice the PS3, 80 gig(gamestop refurb price 449.99, same as a refurb 60 gig.) up and comin games all depend on what u like playin, online play in free
 
get a 360. online play does cost money but you just buy a 1 year subscription and its not really a big deal. 360 has a much larger selection of titles than ps3. most titles that were once exclusives usually come out for 360 a little later. even the new final fantasy is now being released on 360
 
360, imo.
 
what about gears? killzone 2? any good shooters on 360? COD4?
 
ill stick with ps3 ull soon see i mean it wont overheat as fast the controlls are easier and not as bulky and you can gon on the internet wirelessly. and online play is free

i have both system but my black 360 keeps overheating and kinda pissin me off. Games on the is better -IMO. but PS3 is a better system for the money you pay.
 
Now a days, a lot of games are being produced for both systems so it doesn't really matter which system you buy. Personally, I'd go with the 60gb or 80gb PS3 because it offers more features.

lol I'm thinking of getting a wii, but most of my gaming is on the pc.
