Love my PS3 but stay away from online gaming. Never got into it due to the jack ass factor. My favorites would be GOW and DEAD SPACE.

My only gripe with the PS3 was pulling the backwards compatibility from the newer units.

I love my PS3, but it has taken the back seat lately. I like playing Madden 09, Brothers In Arms Hells Highway, and Call Of Duty 5 online. My gamertag is Nemesis0704, feel free to send me a request. I had a crapload of games, but my apartment was broken into last November, and they stole my original 60GB PS3(That I stood in line forever for) with all my games, along with my kids wii nib that was going to be a christmas gift. I ended up replacing everything except all the games.

Seriously why do we live in the most expensive and most dangerous state? I am moving to VA ASAP.

Give me one reason why the 360 is better than the PS3, and I'll give you ten reasons why PS3 is better.

1. Better graphics
2. Free online gaming
3. Blu Ray compatibility
4. Better quality system (360's are prone to the "red ring of death")
5. Imo easier controls
6. Better looking (Glossy frame looks great with your entertainment center and black electonics)
7. Better Hard Drives
8. God Of War III
9. Better Customer Service
10. Wireless controllers come standard(no need for batteries)

Because I am and always have been a Microsoft kid.

Cons.

1. Guitar Hero sucks for PS3 (call me lame, I like the Guitar Hero games.)
2. Blue ray is cool, but who is going to pay 30+ dollars for a dvd?
3. Imo, Xbox has more quality games with better replay value. Ps3 is a graphical powerhouse, while games look amazing, they lack in actual gameplay and story development.
4. Controllers feel awkward to me.
5. I'm not paying 400+ dollars for a game console.
6. The only way you get the best out of the games is if you have an HD TV.

Pro's.

1. Free online play is nice.
2. Blue ray player is sweet, but again not paying for the dvd's.
3. God of War III looks sick.

That's all I can really think of for the pro's of the Ps3. Like I said before, everyone has their own opinions, and these are just mine.

PS3 isn't a huge failure, not sure why this continues to persisit. The only way this is true is if you compare it to the wii, in which case both PS3 and 360 are behind.

As far as Blue Ray being worth it, that depends on what TV you have. On a 36" the difference between blue ray and DVD is nil. When you upgrade to a 50" the difference is huge. Also remember there was a High Definition add on drive for the 360, and we know what happened there .

Controllers are a matter of personal preference if you are used to heftier X-box controller the PS3 controller will feel weird, the same for the reveres.

The price is higher on the PS3 80GB ($400 at gamestop) than the 360 60GB ($300). You can't compare a 60 GB Xbox to a 60 GB PS3 as the 60 GB PS3s are backwards compatible and therefor worth more until Sony starts releasing them again.

Both companies have a long history of making really bad PR moves so neither can claim moral high ground.

The developers have an eaiser time with a 360 vs PS3. The 360 basicly a hardwareware fixed desk top with what would currently be obsolete technology by desktop standrads. The PS3 has a cell processor which while much faster and more power full but has a steep learning curve.

Looks like the only problems you have with ps3's is the money. The bluray games are not that expensive(ebay). HDTV's are neccesary for both xbox and ps3. or get a 30" hd pc monitor. You will save more money with the ps3 b/c u have to pay for internet for the xbox. Bet if you had alot more money you would of had one.

I have the money, I just don't want a ps3. Not very appealing to me. I don't watch tv or movies very much so no need for an hd tv.
