Pseudacanthicus tank size and stocking

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Currently they share a 53 gallon. They had been doing fine for the last 2-3 months but now one picks on the other allot so can't have that.

I normally would go for a bigger tank for a foot long fish but these guys are mostly just in there caves. My panaques I wouldn't pair up at that size in that tank there to active and produce WAY more waste.

Nice I recently reread your thread of your collection. Which one would you say is your most active and bold pleco? Also What kind of pike did u add?

With the big boys.... L95 is extremely active. Bold would be the L160.

In the small medium pleco tank, most active are 6" blue phantom, 9" L14, and 4" Flash pleco. Boldest would be the L14...... and due to sheer size, my rhino pleco at 12"s is the keeper of peace.

Not to disagree with you, but if you had them in a larger tank 240 and up, they would probably be much more active.

They fight all the time. When there are a bunch of plecos in the same tank the aggression is spread out and noone gets beat up too bad. My guys are constantly chasing each other around the tank, but call it quits before anything gets too serious. All I have are pseudas...

ShookONES can you detail tank size and how many are in the 10-12+ category? I started to look at your threads and gave up, you must be a pro.
