i think the names u have given in this pic are reversed
the tigrinums have more of Y shaped patterns and the fasciatums have more of straight lines on them

the pic of fugupuff is of a very small specimen, the one u have shown a pic of is quite a big specimen and does have a lot of spots than an average fasciatum

The one's pictured above are correct and are from planet catfish. The tigrinums have vertical bars while the fasciatums have honeycomb like markings just like picture above. The Corruscans may have some blotches and some small bars but will have spots all over the body, unlike the other two. As my two have been getting bigger they are getting more and more spots and the blotches or small bars are starting to dissapear.

Looking good. These guys are rarely seen in the hobby. They came in last year and I only saw 2 vendors offer them. I picked up a few from Jeff rapps myself.

At the 5-6" range, the markings are similar to fasciatum, but 'cleaner'. They also have a sleeker look, and more slender build to the head. Honestly, its most noticeable when comparing to common TSN.

The 2 I kept are getting close to the 20" mark and the spotting is definitely starting to kick in. I find them more skittish than reg TSN.

Corruscans are the largest growing of the TSN species -

Heres a thread Jose posted with some Adults ;)

Cool, I was wondering who else bought the others from Rapps. I don't think alot of people know about these fish. Most look and see a regular TSN, but these guys are very hard to come by. Please post pics of yours, I would really like to see them.

Thanks

I need to move some stuff aound in the Pond this weekend. I'll get some shots :)

i am quite sure of what i said
the fasciatums are the ones where the fish has vertical bars and the tigrinums have the y shaped bars

in that pic they must've made a mistake

u have two corruscans, are they similar to fasciatums and tigrnums in terms of conspecific aggression an all

yeah, I've only collected fish on the internet, its actually great, you don't have to pay for them, you don't have to feed or change water either.

Here are some more to check out, see how these are just spots only?
