here are some pics of my bad boy right at the 6in mark, i don't have a great camera (or great picture taking skills lol) so the flash kind of washes out his colors. instead of the greenish color the flash makes him is true color is like the blue of the other one you posted, his whole body is like the nice blue that is showing in his fins (also sorry about the smudgy glass, had some kids over this weekend n haven't cleaned the glass yet haha)

Sorry Sarah, I just saw this - Gorgeous fish! I'll definately have to find an excuse to get a couple of those down the road. Ira usually has them I beleive.

How big is he? Reason I ask is I have a 4" Psittacus and he/she doesn't have near as much color as yours. Guess I must have a female. Here is a pic.

He's a little over 6" now. He only recently got the iridescent green color to him, and the flash made him look greener than he acutually is. He looks more like the picture you posted than the one I did, but he seems to be getting greener as he grows. I'll try and get a better picture of him up.

yeah that's where i got my group from, this male was the one out of the 3 i got that was showing the most color but they were all gorgeous

Mine was really shy at first, but rules the tank with an iron fist now. I took a couple pictres without the flash, but he wasn't cooperating with his colors much. His bars are usually much more visible.

If I get any better pics, I'll share them.
