Looks like a beauty. I have 4 myself, but it's been an arduous 3 weeks (see my thread: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=302345)

One of my local LFS had one. I was thinking of picking it up in case 2 of mine didn't make it; but that LFS individual was sold a few weeks ago (Hopefully my API General Cure treatment has been successful.)

Now my biggest issue is getting them to eat. Mine do NOT eat market shrimp, raw or cooked; carrots; or zuchinni. I think they eat blood worms, hikari wafers; earthworm sticks (and maybe NLS pellets). I'm wondering if mine primarily eat the driftwood and coconut caves (I see brown poo and lots of saw dust). What do you feed yours?

Well I just got him last night so today after school ill try some different foods for it. I read they are mostly carnicors but im gonna try shrimp and a slice of cucumber and hope it eats one of the two. I might pick up some sort of sinking catfish pellets as well to see if he might like those. You have any pics of yours?

My posting thread has a close up picture of one with velvet/fungus, and then a picture of the tank where you can see two L114s (and an L52).

I have three myself. Without a doubt my favorite fish. Mine are 9 inches and two at 4 inches. As Linus knows mine are fed Nls 3 mm pellets and Wardleys flake. Once a week they get mussells with the shell on. The big guy can actually break the shell. Zuccinni once in awhile also. They are not to crazy about the zuccinni. That is mainly for my bristlenose. Wish I was better with a camera.

awe...might I ask...did you get him from elmer's?? THey had one there for several weeks that I kept eyeballing. One of the workers there would always let me know his statis when I walked in (kinda a reg there)

I currently have two.. Got them 2 weeks ago.. their at 6" and 4" cost an arm & leg.. but worth it..

i think its important for plecos to learn from other plecos.. they will eat what the other is eating..... it's always worked out for me..

No I got him from That Fish Place over in Lancaster.

I've been meaning to go there, can't think how far that is from me. Went on there website, a lot of neat stuff

But, YAY for me....I'm heading out to my lfs (elmer's) tmrw to get a bigger tank for my flowerhorn, and think I'm gonna bring the l114 home then...
