Psycopath cichlids that dont require huge tanks??

Went to a lfs yesterday, and saw a green texas cichlid about 6-7 inches trying to bite me through the glass, I hear of super aggressive cichlids but never seen it in person or at the right time yet and it was great.

What other psychopath cichlids are out there that doesnt require such huge tanks preferrably as low as they can go? Obviously dovii's and umbie's are out of the question

What other aggressive cichlids can fit within the range of a 50-100 gal? I know that each fish's temperament differentiates more or less but how about in most cases? Personal experiences please.

Midas, red devil, jags, texas, butti. Also there are alot of non cichlids that are just as mean.

yea i would get a reddevil cichlid they are one of the top agressive cichlid and the minimum tank size for a female is 55 and for a male is 75

grammodes are mean, my 3" male almost killed a pike cichlid that was twice its size

90 - 100 gallon? That's what I'm getting soon too!!! The good news is, you really arn't all that limited in choices at all. Well except of course for Dovi's and Umbies! You got alot of awesome choices man. Enjoy!

50 to 100 i said =D. Anyways i really took a liking to the looks ofa texas, and my choices as of now would be a jag or texas. How are the temperaments of butti's?

Just imagine an angry red-nosed Pit Bull with fins instead of legs! Basically the "African Equivelent" of a Midas/RD IMO.

Buttis are personally the craziest fish I have ever seen. They are SO mean. Never have seen one let another fish live for long.
