Hey, can you get audio of their nighttime rumbles for me? My little platydoras armulatus talk and I can't help but wonder what kind of rumble your boys put on.

And, yes, I'm all gaga for those spiky beasts.

No, it wouldn't. You misunderstand. I'm not asking you to do anything to them. All you'd have to do is rest a microphone against the tank before bed and push 'record' on a tape player. If that hurts fish, I'd like to know how.
 
That would be cool,i used to hear our pictus make noises but not heard these guys yet.

have you been to blue planet?
they had a granulosus at about 4ft in the amazon tank.
