i am getting one today but i want to know more about the Pterodoras Granulosus can some one tell me more about them?

I think it is related to the Oxydoras and Megalodoras cats as well as others, this is a large group and their care is about the same.

you're loking at a 3' max, eats most anything, even friut and veggies. don't keep with small fish, i'ts not a pred but will eat swmall slower fish if hungery. large heavy decore are best

when he gets big enough he will be put in with arowana, gars and ck, niger. do they grow fast?

Hey,

other question: How big is your tank? The biggest granulosus I've seen so far were almost 4 feet and about 90 lbs!!!! But they were in a 4000g private tank.

Cheers

right now hes in a 40 gallon frow out tank and when he gets big i have a tank big enough for him/her

No they don't grow fast. I have two of this fish. I love them as they swim like sharks. Will eat anything once settle down.
