Puffer Appreciation Day!

I keep a Garra with my fahaka. He's still alive more by luck than judgement...



And here are some of my puffers. Prepare yourself 56k, and those with big internet can see some of the worst photography ever -

Dwarf Puffers

Irrubesco

Red eye puffer. This is the same fish in all the photographs.

My Fahaka. No "55g" or "75g" growout, he went straight into a 150g where he'll stay.

Carinotetraodon salivator male, one of the first imports into the UK (Alongside Hilly's). I also have a camera shy female.

Colomesus asellus, South American Puffer.

I also have a male and female Carinotetraodon borneensis, who have their own tank, and a figure 8 puffer.

I'm always keen for any rare puffers people might have to offer in the UK. If you've got one, get in touch

Great looking puffers.... the more i mess with them the more I like them.

hey hilly that abei is really nice. how much did u pay for it? i think i saw one at some random lfs but didnt pick it upcuz it didnt look so healthy

I paid £18 for him but i've seen them for around £7

is that top species a dwarf species...if not how big do they get

They get to around 2", aggressive little sods though, he killed the female after 10 days of peace. They are nice looking little puffers though.

Not so much camera shy more too quick to get in focus. I found her very inquisitive and much more intelligent than the male.
