Just a side note, its not a good idea to feed goldfish to a marine fish. It will eventually kill them. I don't remember the specifics but there is something that they can't process and it builds up.

I would suggest krill as a staple. Puffers need a hard food source the keep their teeth trimed. I would suggest feeding prawn or other shell fish from the grocery atleast weekly. Snails are also important to their diet if you can find the appropiate sized ones. The snails should be about the size of the puffers eye.
they did autopsies on Lion Fish that ate alot of goldfish.their livers were surrounded by alot of FAT.Feeding marine fish goldfish shortens the life of the marine fish.Goldfish also have no nutritional value what so ever.

yeah cuz they dont have stomachs. they dont absorb good things to pass on to marine fish. they barely sustain themselves. i would try feeding them some ghost/marble shrimp or something like that before goldfish.

If you can't get it to eat, try putting some adding a little garlic to their food. They would have to be very ill to resist it.
