I was wondering if it would be possible to put a juvenile fahaka puffer with a juvenile motoro stingray without it possibily turning into a brawl?

it might be ok. just watch them and be ready to seperate ASAP if a problem occurs because motoros are not hardy at all

I think it would make a whole lot of trouble, just because they're juvies doesn't mean they will be juvies for long. The fahaka will get aggressive and bite a huge chunk out of the motoro's disk. Like wackamole said, you can try it, but you'll need another tank in case you have to separate them.

I wouldn't do it.

Puffer's gonna nip/chew on the ray man.

yea...i agree that they (fahaka puffer) will cause alot of trouble in the tank. They are extremely aggressive fishes.I had this guy before well actually i still do....but still a small lil bugger.I had him in a 120 gallon tank with a 9" male manguense,12" silver arowana,7" common pleco. And one morning i found all my larger fishes got nipped the crap out of them last night. And the puffer i only 3".So be careful...as your motoro ray isnt like the most active fishes in the world it will get nipped at.I only know very few ppl have the rare chance of having these guys with other fishes.

I know of a 4" fahaka that bit an 8" pleco in half! I put mine in with a softshell turtle & it's shell was scalloped the next day. Pretty much what it would do to a ray. Better kept alone.

Bad risk.

very bad idea i wouldnt take the risk
