Puffer for a 60 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the input everyone. I went looking around some fish stores and it seems they only hae figure 8s, green spotted and some arrowheads (that dont even move). Is it OK if I get like 4 or 5 green spotted puffers in 60 gallon if there are many rocks and driftwood? I have an Aquaclear 110 on the 60.

I would do maybe 3 GSPs MAX in a 60g.. Most people will tell you only 1, maybe 2.. but we are MFK'ers and we like to push the limits.. These guys get about 6" and have a big bioload.. As long as aggression isn't an issue and you can keep up with the brackish/saltwater requirements and bioload, go for it!

Even so they should be easy to get hold of. Ask the com sellers. Miles or Fugupuff should know. They are puffer junkies too!
