Puffer for my tank

As far as the Lake Turkana theory goes, there is not no scientific evidence for it as far as I'm concerned but I do take the experience of some of the keepers with an open ear. Sure, people tend to immediately categorize anything other than a rigorous scientific peer-reviewed paper as a "tell tale" but the amount of cases coming from the private sector seems to be in abundance, so I do not see it as just multiple coincidences - including your hands on experience with them. I've seen very little fahakas (less than 1") with solidified patterns, I think that much of it comes down to genetics when not counting factors such as mood and its environment.

Anyhow, good to hear that your fahaka was rehomed ride, I remember it was going at an unbeatable price at the classifieds section.

Went to a great home thank goodness. Was also my first time shipping a fish even though I have received many that way and it came out perfect. The postal delivery guy for the new owners area actually redid his route when he saw he had a live fish to deliver, and instead of the new owner getting him around the usual 4pm mail time he was made the first delivery of the morning.
