out of curiosity, I know the Fahaka does not get near as big as the Mbu but is considered significantly more aggressive. Has anyone ever seen a Fahaka successfully kept with African Cichlids? Whenever I think of aggression issues with fish I also think about dogs and how nurture can dramatically change the way a dog will act, regardless of their natural instincts. I've wondered if you got a Fahaka as a baby and feed it really well would it change its habits.

Depends some have been successful, some haven't. I had mine with some 5 stars and a large Texas and convict hybrid but had lots of fin nipping. Small fast fish are usually suggested. It's not necessarily about how aggressive they are either; some fish are more aggressive and have tankmates; it's about what a warning chomp can do with those beak like teeth of theirs
