Then why would yo tell someone to get one for a 125g tank that has large fish in it? That's just irresponsible.
I agree with PP. Mbus get huge and it's irresponsible to suggest them. I'm gonna have to say no puffers. All the ones I can think of either get too big, stay too small, or are too mean for that tank. Sorry.AddictedToMbus;2445037; said:you're making like the mbu hes gettin is gonna be 2'
it'll be fine in a 125 at a 4"-5" state then if it gets big
he can get another tank or sell, 72x18 is a good start
Just because it's a rare fish doesn't mean everybody should get one.AddictedToMbus;2445068; said:^^^^fine im sorrywell from where im from mbus arent popular so tryna open eyes for fish head
since everyone loves dat
Excellent point.Pufferpunk;2445072; said:The guy never said anything about upgrading. He wanted to know if there was a puffer that was good in his tank, not for a future 500g tank. It is extremely difficult to sell a large puffer. I would never suggest someone getting a fish they couldn't properly house for life.
Pufferpunk is right, unless he already has plans to upgrade dont suggest the mbu as the likelyhood is he will not upgrade. The guy never said anything about upgrading. not if but when, it will get big unless it dies which is highly likely in a 125 already stocked with other high waste producing fish. Mine is currently in a 180 an is only small, i certainly do not want it in there for over 18 months as it will be cruel.you're making like the mbu hes gettin is gonna be 2'
