Then why would yo tell someone to get one for a 125g tank that has large fish in it? That's just irresponsible.

I agree with PP. Mbus get huge and it's irresponsible to suggest them. I'm gonna have to say no puffers. All the ones I can think of either get too big, stay too small, or are too mean for that tank. Sorry.AddictedToMbus;2445037; said:

The guy never said anything about upgrading. He wanted to know if there was a puffer that was good for his 125g tank, not for a future 500g tank. It is extremely difficult to sell a large puffer. I would never suggest someone getting a fish they couldn't properly house for life.

not if but when, it will get big unless it dies which is highly likely in a 125 already stocked with other high waste producing fish. Mine is currently in a 180 an is only small, i certainly do not want it in there for over 18 months as it will be cruel.
