I just bought two stripped puffers and I was wondering besides the normal fish food....what do they eat. They are not big enough to eat snails, so I was just wondering. get back asap

Need to see a pic of these striped puffers. And, what do you consider to be normal fish food? None of my puffers have ever taken flake and few take pellets.
If your striped puffers are fahakas, they can't be kept together for long and they'll each need about 120gals as adults.

haha, size doesn't matter to most puffers concerning snails. i've watched dwarf puffers abuse an apple snail until it died and then that fat little thing picked at the snail until we decided the snail probably wasn't fresh enough to eat anymore.

They are babies....I just got them yesterday. they are like not even an inch. So how would they crush a snail? Plus I have a snail in there they haven't bothered him at all.

You answered your own question; "I just got them yesterday." Once the puffers settle down, they'll notice the snail and make a snack of it.

They actually need snails to keep their teeth filed........ I agree, give them time and they will eat them! They will eat about anything except pellets and flakes. Mine love shrimp, crayfish and feeder fish. I agree with wanting a pic also...... Fahaka's do get rather large. Can you post pics so we can see?!
