pump question

I'm in the market to buy a pump. A pump that will take my treated/heated water from my ice chest on wheels to my aquarium. It will need to pump 20 gallons up a 5 foot line everyday for about 7-8 months. Then it will only be once a week after that. I need to be as cheap as possible because my husband is going to freak when he sees the credit card bill this month *grins* Discus are expensive and have special needs :D

How much GPH would this pump need?
 
Mag Drive pumps are great, but you might look at getting a dumb little pond pump for something like this. If you are just moving 20G of water, just about any type of cheap little pump will work for a while. Try to find a Harbor Freight. Cheap prices, but the stuff is kind of cheap, but it gets the job done cheaply.

Almost anything will work in your case.
