Pump questions

lol all i had to do was stick a screw driver in it to free it . started up right away.
Running it with some vingar in it now. hopefully that cleans it up a bit

did you check the date on that pump? never seen a quiet one look like that.

Dont know exactly where to look for it but the guy before me had it for probably 6-8 years. the thing has three speeds. and is very quiet

love that photo of the Tigerfish! the girl is OK too! lol. I'm having some issues with a brand new Blueline 70(Panworld) that is rated for 1750gph. I have it plumbed to a sump. A check valve properly installed, all valves open, and I did actually pour water into inlet of pump prior to installing it. When I turn it on, I hear a swishing swirling water sound inside the pump, but I don't get water flow to the tank. The tank is a 300 freshwater tank being set up for discus. I have tried just about everything I could think of. Any ideas? anyone? thanks.
