for some reason lately, it seems like my pump is sucking too much water or something... i have to keep adding water to my sump like every other day, because the water keeps gettin low for some reason... i didnt touch anything for some reason its been acting up lately... time for a new pump?

evaporation.

the pump cant make water go away unless its leaking, which would be quite obvious.

If its not leaking, its evaporating. Is the humidity low right now in your area or house?

having too much water in the tank, will that cause low water levels in the sump?
i mean when i add water into the sump the tank starts to almost overflow, water gets pushed up and hits the top of the glass...
thats my only thought?

sounds like your overflow cant keep up with your pump.
The only way the tank water level will increase is if your overflows are too small or restricted.

Im with rally here, try an restrict the outflow from the pump a bit.

i think i got it really figured out now, my overflow was full.. i guess someone in the house decided to mess with the overflow setting and they lowered the overflow box ,causing the overflow box to get full ...hopefully i figured it out..

Yea, it sounded like the overflow just couldn't keep up.
