Very easy to get, best at night with a nice bright flashlight. Bring yourself and a friend, go to the local creek about an hour or so after dark, look in shallow pools, and starting spotlighting them. They can be anywhere. Have your buddy use the light to find them, you will be the one getting wet, we use a sein and a net but a sein seems to be easy, once he spots one slowly walk towards it and make sure not to take the light off the fish, they can be gone in a flash, net in the water, once you are close, start surrounding the fish with the sticks from the sein, you will be enclosing him, then you can either use the sticks to nudge the fish into the net or have ur buddy use a net to nudge him slightly, 9 times outa 10 then swim right into the sein. You can also catch them on worms, Ive only done this once and he was a big one. Most successful way is a sein at night, bright light to blind them.
