Pup born this morning

My female finally gave birth this morning to a cute little girl I checked on the mother this morning around 8:30, and she seemed a little agitated. Went down to the fishroom around 11:30 and found the little one. I don't think the mother is holding any more, her shape looks almost back to normal. THis is her first litter, and she's just over 11" diameter. I'm excited!

The mother expelled this a few hours after giving birth. Any idea what it is? About 2" long. I think it started to break apart.
