Looks like a hybrid to me (look at it's tail).
Very fat n' healthy!

The mother expelled this a few hours after giving birth. Any idea what it is? About 2" long. I think it started to break apart.

Agree I have found these in my tanks after the females gave birth and think it's sperm from the male.
