almost certainly bites/rasping, almost certainly the pleco, happening when the lights are off.
It will heal if you let it have the tank to itself, otherwise having no-where to run, being trapped, it will stress out
when/if the ray gets big enough it will eat the pleco and the aro.
IMO rays should be kept as single species, not community fish.
