Gorgeous they are great dogs.

When you say "great bird dogs" do you mean they were bred to be hunters, not as "pets" ? Or do you mean that they are just good for hunting, too?

the dad is a pure hunting machine. the mom was hunted only a few times. the parents of the mom were raised by the omish and im sure they hunted. my dog was pointing(the mom) way before we ever even thought of hunting her. they just have hunting in there blood plus the breed has the hunting instinct
