Hi Sam, I think she will develop some nice colours, I may keep this one to grow on but move if the Dad shows interest as she matures, If she gives birth to the one that is still moving in side her and it is healthy then I will probably move that on.

How are your rays?

Good decision. It will be really exciting to see how the pattern develops.
Unfortunately I lost my rays while I was on a business trip, which is why I've not been in here in a year or so. Was gutting, especially considering the female motoro was pregnant by my male flower! Just got myself a young male hystrix and am on the lookout for more rays now. So if another one pops out keep me in mind.

That's not good to hear. I have a spare hma setup if you want one as a timed drip is good if you have to go away. I will let you know if the other pops out, would be good to go to a good home......will keep you posted.
 
The white patch on the female is now peeling off with perfect skin under, must be part of the birth sack or similar., just watched her eat first pellets and have a go at small chopped worm. Fed some discus mix soft mini pellets and sturgeon mini.
