i think these will turn out more black than that ray looks
henlei have a brownish bass when born and never that dark black to them like leos

also i don't see any henlei marking on that ray at all does anyone else it looks mantillaish

well, i think this ray was originally owned by brad from what i read and he just sold it... so thats where i was basing the info from

thats cool no offense brad or who ever owns this ray but in my opinion that ray is kinda ugly i also would like to see a solid pic of this mix
i think they may turn out like a pearl leo hybrid

I agree... i mean some pears are pretty dark and i think the pearlxleo mix are pretty sweet looking

There was another thread on this ray many months ago and I said the same thing to me this ray looks nothing like a henlei/motoro hybrid and more like a mantilla. The previous owner was Todd from anythingfish. I have seen many leo/motoro and they will look very much like a nice motoro when there adults they tend to keep the brown motoro color but the spots are large with a yellowish color to them. These are very nice hybrids they are breeding this type of hybrid alot now in asia I will see if I can get some pictures of adults and post.

If I was a betting man, haha, I would say they will turn out something like this.. pic is from Swiss breeder
