Yes she was wonderful! What does the gold base mean exactly? Is it something that is line bred or is it just a variant, sorry I'm still really new to flowerhorns and am trying to learn. I kept one previously but it outgrew my 55g so I sold it - it was a very low grade one with a small kok but it was so interactive I do miss it and hope for a similar experience with this.
Yes it's a nice pick up for $100 bro. Golden based SRD are as you asked yes a bit harder to find (they used to be more easy to find) back in the day. Just a slight different mix. They look great when grown I used to have a couple SRD like this. This one has potential, it will be good looking fish. It has nice double row and good markings, decent kok, and nice color. Only thing it lacks is red across the head but that's not everything. Love to see updates on this one later good buy!
