I'm not actually saying all hybrids are flowerhorn I'm stating the difference between hybrids and flowerhorn at the point of a flowerhorn the fish is considered a breed or hybrid strain like a pure bred dog the difference between a hybrid and a hybrid strain is that the hybrid strain produces fertile males but a flowerhorn breed will always contain genes from either vieja or amphilophus the two common denominators of all flowerhorn some will contain both and some only one
