Purigen gets toxic with slime coat???

They mean products like Stress Coat, which is a slimy underpowered ripoff anyway.

Is NovAqua Plus safe to use with Purigen? At $8.49 for 16oz on Doctors Foster/Smith, I wouldn't think its a cheap ripoff Just wanted to check before I ordered some Purigen for the first time in a couple weeks. Never used Prime before...

Why not just get prime? I don't know what is in Novaqua. Prime is complex hydrosulfite slats

I've used NovAqua plus for years with no issues, no reason to switch.

I had actually been thinking about trying Prime recently, but today I ran across the "Prime smells like farts" threads, and decided to stick with my odorless NovAqua
