Hi everyone. Has anyone used Purigen to get tannins out of their tank's?

I haven’t all I’ve done boil the heck out of the wood and after a year of water changes my water doesn’t stain. Hope someone has an answer that help.

The best thing is to do water changes and be patient. LOL. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

It helps, but won't pull ALL the tannins out if that's what you're aiming for. And "fills up" pretty quickly in tannin water so you have to regenerate it pretty quickly. Honestly, just do the water changes lol.

Just use carbon. It’s cheap and works fast. Purigen is great too…have a couple bags and swap them out so you can regenerate them.
