Purina AQUA-MAX 500 carnivore and AQUAMAX 300 starter fingerling

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i was considering doing this as well just one prob for me is that one bag would last forever!!! the nutrients are "garunteed" :hitting:
i really don't see why they couldn't "compete" with hikari...
by compete i mean see same results growth, color.....
i only saw floating catfish pellets...i'll check another feed store for the others
my aro eats the large floating pelets by hakari only b/c i ordered in bulk and i've got 3bags left.....this is a good link for ordering food at discounted prices!!!

It makes the water smell for a little bit, but my fish love it.

hey, I just found this semi-resurrected thread.

The old man at this LFS who is actually very intelligent and knows a lot highly recommended Aquamax carnivore mix for trout for my pond fish and claims that he uses this for everything in his store. Even the small fish get this stuff, and they just pick at it. (!)

I just started feeding my large goldfish and koimet (koi-goldie hybrid) the stuff and they love it. I have one in QT right now, and it seems to foul the water faster than the leftover cichlid pellets and other stuff I was feeding.

The old man at the LFS is just a cheap old man. ;)

Check the ingredient list closely, there's a reason why this food is dirt cheap.

Not sure what the ingredient ?s are about as Im not that scientific. I due know my buddy has a 4 year old pond and he has been feeding AquaMax and we are catching 5 1/2 to 6 pound bass. That is a big fish for 3-4 year old and the pond is not that big. Thinking of trying it on my next set up of peacock bass.
