I don't think you own one of that strain. That's a Malaysian Golden Monkey back in 2001 or 2002...possible 2003. Can't remember which year was it when that fish is featured as a page cover of a flowerhorn magazine. If you really owned a sibling of that fish, you must own one of the rarest flowerhorn world wide.
i just figured some random fh they got with feeders? a lil baby look just like it exept duble flowerlines and less purple. il try n get a pic if i can borrow moms cam again.
so doing more research my fish is not the sibling of this fish. my fish is the same yellow(not a fader) and fin shape same yellow on fins and more flowerline
and not as much pink/purple im guessing my fish is a mix of this and somthing else
or a very yellow non fader. ive read about MGM but did not evert see a pic of it

Water, I"m not saying i think my fish is a jin kang, i know its a b ZZRD, but what makes you think the purple is not permanant? What would it change to?
I've had this fish since it was .5 in and totally brown at that size, so its not dyed if thats what you were thinking. As she gets bigger it turns purple-er,
why so skeptical?
I'm not just doubting you for no reason, I'd just like to know what prompts you to say that? have you had purple fh before that didn't stay that way?
I'm just saying I've seen huge half and half jin kangs that are totally purple on one side,
whats the difference there?

Good luck finding a KGM if you ever wanted one. As far TK goes, I think they are just a hit and miss IMO. TK was never a steady line of Kamfa. Mr. Tan and someone else is teaming up together for a TK breeding session from the last time I've heard. Not worth buying knowing the price of them on AB alone...which aren't even close to the original TK.
