I can understand that

My biggest issue with him is that he is almost full grown and I really enjoy watching them grow up. So, I may only have him for a few months anyway...Just depends on how much I like him When I got my first RBP, he was a very picky eater and I figured he wouldn't last a long time here, but 2 1/2 years later and I love that little guy

I could be wrong, but arent serrasalmus sanchezi and a purple spilo two different species of piranha?

Not unless you count the common name and scientific name as different species

Now Spilo is the important thing here they can be red, purple, or ruby red

Okay,
these fish I had were very rounded ,when veiwing from the side, and
had alot of orange behind the gill plate.

purple spilo and sanchezi are the same specie.
"purple spilo" is just a variant of sanchezi that has purple hue on them at certain angle under certain light condition.

So, When I woke up this morning, I decided to check the status of my fedex package and instead of On the Way it said delivered... So I jumped up and run to the door to find out the guy didn't even knock just left it by the door

I guess I missed him by 7 minutes, oh well here are the first few pics I have taken (don't want to take to many.... at first)
