That would scare the hell out of me in the middle of the night, lol.

My RTG has done this twice that I know of. Both times I was not in the fishroom. The first time was about 7 pm one evening and really creeped me out. I was cooking and heard this noise and I was like "WTF was that?!?" Even my son on the second floor of the house heard the growl, and the RTG is in the basement.
