almost full pond shot, you can really see him.

i finished the rock tonight so ill take pics tomorrow.

If you get some smaller ones the one you have might beat them up, but you could always use a divider until they grow a bit

i know.....the beach on sat. was only 75 though...wish i lived there.
but ya, just be consistent with the water changes and feed ALOT! and you'll have a 10"+ oscar in no time. mine got to about 9" the first year and a half then slowed down, then had a grouth spurt about a month ago and grew an inch.

Yah i know. Mine is about 10inchs maybe more. I have kept 3 oscars. He was my first and ig to 2 more later on. The tanks was over stocked and had to get rid of them. I raised them all up from 1-2inchs. Here are sum pix. first ones are of my oscar that i have now. the last ones are of the ones i gave away.

Nice fish! The first oscar reminds me of mine... it had lots of red and it always looks like its up to no good, which it was lol

Looks really good. I need to find some good rocks to go around my pond. I don't really like the wood but that is the best I can find.

pond is 9x7 in the bottom and slopes out to 12x7.5. 26" deep just under 1200 gallons.

i was thinking of a pot with lillies. and the plants in there have more than doubled since the pic so now the pond is covered about 1/5th. making descent shade and allowing the feeders to hide.
i got to see my catfish eat tonight. it was actually comming to the surface to get pellets. was cool 'cause it was a first for him.
