I put to much water in my tank today which caused the filter outlet not to push bubbles down into the water... I think I made my fist retarded with lack of oxygen.. kinda kicking myself in the ass right now

There doesn't need to be actual bubbles for sufficient oxygen. You just need sufficient surface agitaion to create enough oxygen exchange.

Did you still have water breakage at the top. I usually fill all my tanks to the top of the trim. I don't do this to my 150 and more because I have a bichir now so I need to leave room for him to surface.

Always remember as long moves there is an oxygen exchange.

Yea I have the outlet pointing down because I like the effect it makes...2 of my guys died and the rest seem a little stupid now... Kinda pissed

I would check your water parameters just to be sure that the oxygen level isn't your only problem.

I did... I just didn't notice I filled to to full... when I got back from dinner I noticed it had been filled to much and they were all at the top sucking for oxygen

The water needs, not only surface agitation, but air space for proper oxygenation. Sound like if you don't siphon some out now your fish could end up suffering from hypoxia. Over heated water can result in the same thing.
