i want to emty my 75 gallon to take out all the gravel to have a bare bottom or lightly sand covered tank, however, i have a 10'' jardini, 10'' ornate birchir,2 4'' knives, 2 4'' parrots,2 7'' plecos and a 3'' black nasty. can i put these in a 20 gallon tub for about 2-3 hours. i have 3 tubs i can use, each 20 gallons.

def. cover the top i put a 6" jack in a 10 gal. bucket for like 4 hrs, i came home from work for lunch luckily my wife comes home at 200p it jumped out when she opened the door to my fish room lol i would have been pissed i had put a flowerhorn i had got from my buddy in my 55 temporarily and he beat the hell out of my jack stupid mistake but i am rambling just cover the buckets you would hate to lose your jar!!!
Cover the tubs and use the same water from the tank in both the tubs and the 75 when you refill again. Because of this, make sure the tubs are clean when you use them.
