Putting plants on driftwood

I used rubber bands, can't tell if moss is attached.

fishing line or rubber bands will do.

Is it the same thing with amazon sword plants - tie on with brown cotton to the bogwood - without the roots touching the gravel and these plants will root into the wood??

i was able just to stick a piece into one the holes about 3 weeks ago and it has never moved and now looks and feels firmly attached and growing.

How do you do it?

Its really annoying me, I keep tying the plants to the wood with fishing line or cotton, and they keep coming loose.

What's the best way?
