Mine does it. He chills out under my rock cave that I built up for him. Just stays there until the light goes out. That's the reason behind my lunar light.... he comes out immediately after the daylight turns off.

Maybe I just have lazy fish... even one of my clown loaches lays on its side even out in the wide open.

Mine does it as well, but as soon as he senses me looking at him he starts swimming and begging for food. I feed him carnivore pellets and algae wafers. Hes a really neat fish.

ive seen mine balancing on his tail holding himself straight up before. I love the tricks they do.
