Bump - who else is going to the Catfish Convention (www.catfishcon.com)?

Also, Capital Cichlid Association's October meeting on Saturday, Oct 13 at JFK High School in Silver Spring (Doors open at 1PM, meeting starts at 2PM).

We're flying in Greg Steves from Texas for a presentation on Cichlids from Lake Victoria...and we'll have our usual snacks, drinks, raffles and auction of aquarium fish and supplies.

It is true that most sales are from the rooms. The Friday night room sales shopping spree and hospitality suites may be the biggest evemt of the whole convention.

CatfishCon starts tonight...and runs through Sunday (all day auction with hundreds of bags of fish and supplies).

Friday night will be TWO hospitality suites (CCA and ***) and lots of folks selling fish and stuff from their rooms on the 3rd floor of the hotel.

If you're in the DC/MD/VA area, it's a no-brainer to come check it out...

ah missed the Friday night shopping spree by a day.. is registration required to the general sale events? I wont be able to attend the presentations/social events but would like to stop by and check it out the "free to roam around" events.
