I have some PVC pipe I would like to cut and place in a tank for a hiding spot. How should I attach them together ( think honeycomb design )? I don't want to use anything that could harm my fish.

I've used rubber bands to make PVC condos for my fish.

Just get some plain old window and door silicone. All you have to do is make sure that there are no mold/mildew inhibitors in there.

All of the water that I and my family drink and my fish swim in comes through PVC pipe that has been glued together with PVC cement. I would just let it cure for a couple days and then wash it well before putting it in your tank.
