you are correct. for some reason, its dorsal and anal fins are all frayed. I hope to be able to take the little delhezi and the rummynose out of there (nowhere else to put them right now where they wouldn't get eaten), but I don't see how they would be causing that. The tank has plenty of filtration, hardly any current and it eats very well. There are no missing scales or any other visual damage.
 
I moved the other fish out of the tank and it's by itself now, so I hope that'll help its fins come back properly.
 
well, idk if it will make it or not. a few days ago, i noticed it wasn't eating much, sometimes not at all. well, i did a water change over the weekend, but it was looking really bad today (i was out of town pretty much all week so far), so I did a big water change. it started not eating after what i'm assuming was a small ammonia spike, which led to uneaten food resulting in even more ammonia. it lost its barbels and looks pretty skinny. i hope it's not too late.
